Our Backup Services Application automatically and securely backs up the irreplaceable contents of your computer for only $100.00 per year no matter how much stuff you need to back up. Each additional computer for only $70 per year.

All you will have to do is install a small software program on your computer that works quietly in the background looking for new and changed files to back up. It looks and feels like part of your computer, and is integrated with your desktop, so there’s nothing new to learn.

We take data privacy and security very seriously. We encrypt your files twice before backing them up securely offsite, using the same encryption techniques that banks use. Files remain encrypted at our secure data centers, so only you can see them.

When your computer is idle, Zippo automatically backs up new and changed files. You don’t have to do anything! When you’re using your computer, the Backup Service goes to sleep so it will never slow down your computer or internet connection.

With our Backup Services, restoring files is quick and easy. If you accidentally delete or otherwise lose some of your files, you can recover them with just a few simple clicks of your mouse - it is that easy! If your computer is damaged, stolen or “just dies” and you lose all your files, you can restore them to a new computer.

By default, Zippo backs up everything in your Documents and Settings folder, including documents, photos, email and data files from applications, such as Quicken, Money, etc. The default backup does not include programs, system files, temporary files, videos, or individual files greater than 4GB. We can, however, manually add any of these to your backup.

There are no limits on backup storage capacity. You can back up all the supported files on your internal hard drive whether you have 1GB, 10GB or more. However, users should be aware that the speed of today's DSL and cable Internet services will make it very slow to back up more than, say, a few dozen GB of data.

If your PC crashes or is stolen, you can recover lost files to a new computer by a few simple mouse clicks. Recovering small amounts of data (a few files here or there) will probably take only seconds or minutes. Restoring all of your data will take longer and depends on how much data you have and the speed of your Internet connection. Most DSL services will allow you to download about 600-800 MB per hour, or roughly 14-18GB per day. For an average user, complete data restoration is likely to take at most a day or two.
